Five Services this year.
Our signature Afternoon at Carrowcrory with Claire Roche
As always, this is a wonderful way to experience an intimate concert of Claire Roche and her stories, songs and harps inside the restored Carrowcrory thatched cottage. Before this, an introductions session within the Tree Labyrinth Garden. This combines local folklore with some wonderful mindful nature connection space.
This is the best venue to experience Claire Roche live. It is enchanting, intimate, and will stay with you for life. Ideal for groups of 5 to 25 people.
These Afternoon sessions last from 2:00 pm until 5:30 pm, no shorter, afternoon tea included.
Optional Caves of Keash walk and traditional pub lunch before.
Exclusive use group accommodation and transport can also be arranged
Must be booked in advance, the earlier the better as Claire gets well booked up.
Labyrinth Garden Sessions for patrons
A slower and more intimate Labyrinth Gardens session that I can serve during an Afternoon At Carrowcrory. This allows more space for the Sí Journey, the Three Stages of Labyrinth Walking, Departure, Initiation, Return. as outlined in my new 'Bathing With The Sheela' book.
This is a wonderful experience for abundant inspiration for journaling, writing, composing, and for ideas for your arts and crafts. A wonderful experience for clearing blockages in your life
This is of the quality of facilitators who charge from €80 to €250 a day for similar. My requirement is that you are a patron of Carrowcrory Labyrinth Gardens on Patreon, from only €1 a month, and you can join on arrival too. All proceeds are applied to buying and replacing plants at Carrowcrory and ongoing repairs.
These are on selected Patrons Only Sunday dates, please see the Visit Page.
Secret Gardens Network social open afternoons
Also Sunday events, and they are lighthearted party and ceili style events. I do quickly introduce the Labyrinth Gardens, but people mainly explore them for themselves. From around 4 pm we settle into a songs, poems, stories and music session, usually with Claire Roche as MC who sings a bit with harps too.
These afternoons are 2pm until 5pm on a Sunday a month during summer. Totally non profit with a collection for a local charity. See Visit Page for dates
Bards In The Woods with woodland picnic
These sessions in local forests are only hosted during March and October now. March includes Ireland's National Tree Week and the woods starting to become alive for Spring. In October there is the beauty of the colour changes as we settle toward Samhain. Nature walk, followed by Poetry sessions, and then Woodland Picnic. Children and dogs welcome. No fee, just bring something for the Picnic table. See Visit Page for Sunday dates
'Bathing With The Sheela' retreats
These become an extension of an Afternoon At Carrowcrory as they enlarge on the introduction at the Tree :Labyrinth Garden.
This is custom created for groups to include the cycle of Departure, Initiation, and Return each day at beautiful nearby locations in Forests, by Loughs, on the Coast, and by stunning rivers and sacred spring wells. We explore picnics, and shop at local food markets for picnic supplies. There's quite a focus on food, herbs, fermentation and adapting our interpretation of soul food. You do not need to be vegan or vegetarian for this.
Packages created for groups of 3 to 14 people, exclusive use accommodation, and delightful driver and and coach. Contact us well ahead to help you arrange this. An extension of Claire Roche Music.
